Most of the drawing nibs are very thin and pointed and create an extremely fine stroke.

They are primarily suitable for hatching and drawing. Drawing pens are usually too sensitive for writing.

As with the pointed nibs and the ball point nibs, drawing pens are available in different levels of flexibility.
